A wonderful morning everyone, i am here again to let you get up to speed with the technology that is changing the way stuffs are done financially. 

I remember clearly stating that automation is knocking on our doors to take our jobs from us but i had a lot of disagreements as well as positive vibes in my inbox.  
It is interesting to note that, there is nothing we can do unless we are smart about the choices we make by being in sync with technology whether in transport, marketing, education, banking and the likes. 

I hope you do remember the days when email wasnt popular, sending letters and post mails were very popular and efficient and adored. Who thought that those things will die down for email, whatsapp, social media to take over just like that. That is what we call a disruption. Almost everyone having a facebook, instagram,twitter account has an email. Most students have emails back from the days we were introduced to Yahoo and Aol before King Google came. 

Did you ever think that our taxi drivers would jump unto uber easily? It has caught up with them and they need to adjust in some parts of Ghana but it has gained worldwide recognition in how taxi business is conducted.  

I will leave you to just research on what Tesla is doing. This guy may be crazy, but there is nothing stoping him.  

In that vain, let me talk about what i love to talk about. Cryptocurrencies are changing the face of payments at a rapid pace. When i meet people who have challenges transferring money outside Ghana i wonder because some complain that some transfer operators has blocked Ghana from not sending money. Moreover expensive fees from transferring money in and out of the country, i am like why should that be.

In us much as post mails are less used now, financial institutions on the retail side are going to be affected big time.
