DUMP PAPERWORKS, EMBRACE BLOCKCHAIN!!!

Embracing the transparent future

Technology keeps rising each and every day and finally we have a solution to deal with numerous and piled paperwork that faces public sector offices in my Country, Ghana. It can be applied to other countries as well but I wish to use my country as a case study.
I am not an investigative journalist or an Anas Aremeyaw Anas, but with the news items displayed on various platforms, I am moved to base my writing on my observation which I stand to be corrected. With more paperwork the trend of many offices, it gets very serious when some sensitive documents vital to the State are unable to be recollected or retrieved when needed.

We live in a country where some Leaders are able to thrash important state contract documents when leaving power or office. Contract terms are edited to suit parties when it is needed to aid in audits or reporting. Falsehood and lies are projected in the public domain and citizens are left with rumors, lies and all manner of propaganda and confusion in the highest order. It is abnormal the way things happen. These abnormalities has drastic effects on the growth of the economy which drags the nation behind. To ensure all these mishaps are dealt with, we need BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY.

In blockchain, we refer to an online ledger of records of transactions kept in a decentralized manner across a network of users peer to peer. These information are not kept on a central server but distributed across networks and secured with cryptography. That makes it an indestructible and most secured way of record keeping the world is seeing now over the internet.
The Blockchain
Blockchain has evolved since 2009 and was associated with a crypto currency called Bitcoin. Making it difficult for transactions to be altered and edited for any reason. All transactions that has ever been made are still there for all to verify but not to rectify.

Not only has blockchain evolved but it has now championed the cause for a verifiable system at recollecting records. This technology makes it difficult and extremely impossible to alter, delete or hide records or information for any reason.

This is the technology we need as a country. We see lots of documents compromised to suit several parties and difficulty in accessing these especially for reporting and auditing purposes.
When applied in various sectors in the public sector e.g. Land title registry, education, transportation (ticketing), judicial system, information, finance etc., we will have and achieve a transparent system for all transactions and trust me, corruption will be reduced drastically. There will be high cost reduction and accurate tracking of information. Let us embrace BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY and we will move on as a nation.

Let the world hear about this, like, share and post your comments below.

  3. I totally agree with your point to refer to an online ledger of records of transactions kept in a decentralized manner across a network of users peer to peer. As it helps in understanding the blockchain in a proper manner and easy to use. I was looking forward to hire dedicated blockchain development company and got your blog. Thanks for sharing such a great blog.
